BIO

Lotus Flow is a multi-genre music producer, songwriter and keyboardist originally from Shenzhen China, currently based in Los Angeles. Lotus Flow has been trained in classical piano for 10 years; studied 2 years film composition; and now an active music producer. She draws her influences from western pop, Hip-Hop, R&B and electronic music. Lotus Flow was 17 years old when she was admitted to Berklee College of Music where she began her journey learning jazz, funk, and indie pop. She was performing as a synth bass player in a funk band with classmates in jazz clubs in the first two years in college. At Berklee her major was music technology and electronic sound design and that influenced her to explore the European electronic scene and Intelligent Dance Music.
In 2021, Lotus Flow signed to Universal Music Publishing Group and started working with top of the industry professionals, artists, and musicians for commercial projects. She has successfully written and produced songs that are now commercially available.
In 2022, Lotus flow relocated to Los Angeles to expand her musical knowledge and gain an international presence. She was able to work with well-known songwriters in Los Angeles and wrote songs for K-POP, hip-hop, electronic-pop scene. Her success as one of the few female Asian producers has help carved her a position within the music industry and provide her many opportunities.
The song ‘Best U Had’ she produced for the singer Gloria Kim got half million streams on Spotify within a month and mentioned by Rolling Stone at AAPI month. Then, Lotus Flow produced and arranged Korean idol AleXa’s latest single “Juliet” for her comeback album, and the music video hits half million views in 10 days, and it got No.3 on both US Album Chart and Korean Ballad Chart. After she got her first industry exposure as a producer by interviewing with Genius magazine and some K-pop Medias, Lotus Flow built her own music studio and started a music team with multi–Billboard No.1 songwriters in LA.
